The Vision

Vision is not about reality, or what is; it is about our dreams and aspirations, or what could be.

At Community Harvest Church:

We envision a place where the lonely, the hurting, the bound, and the oppressed can find love, healing, freedom, hope and salvation.

We envision sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with thousands of unsaved friends and people in our communities and around the world, many of whom will receive Christ as Lord and Savior.

We envision all of our members developing into fully devoted and fully equipped followers of Jesus Christ through our worship services, adult Bible fellowships, children’s ministries, etc.

We envision a larger facility that will accommodate our growth.  This facility will provide ample room for our worship services, adult Bible fellowships, children’s ministries, and other meetings and programs that will encourage growth in Christ.  While we do not adopt the philosophy that “bigger is better,” numerical growth is, however, a by-product of evangelism.  Therefore, we desire to grow by converting lost souls to Christ.

This is our dream – our vision

The Mission

At Community Harvest Church, our focus is Christ; our mission is souls.

We as a body of believers exist to:

&        Exalt the Lord Jesus Christ

&        Evangelize the world

&        Equip the saints for ministry

We will accomplish this through biblical instruction, prayer, worship and fellowship.

 Core Values

The following represents the core values of Community Harvest Church. These are the constant, passionate, biblical values that drive our ministry.

Christ’s Headship

We acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ as the head of our church and submit ourselves, and our activities, to His will (Ephesians 1:22-23).

Biblical Exposition

We will strive to teach and preach God’s Word by honest and proper contextual exegesis of Scripture (2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16).

Authentic Worship

We desire to acknowledge and glorify the Lord in our personal lives and in the corporate worship of our church (1 Corinthians 10:31).

Prayer

We acknowledge our total dependence upon the Lord through our private and corporate prayer from conception to execution of all ministries and activities of this church (Matthew. 7:7-11).

Lost Souls

We desire to win and disciple the unsaved through personal witness, community outreach, and world missions.

Equipped Saints

We endeavor to have a congregation equipped with the ability to effectively accomplish the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-13).

Holy Spirit

We seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit for the enduement of power necessary to be effective in the work of the ministry (Acts 1:8).

Ministry Excellence

God has given us His very best (the Savior); thus we endeavor to honor God by maintaining a high standard of excellence in our ministries, activities, and facilities (Colossians 3:23-24).

Godly Conduct

We value a lifestyle which clearly honors Christ in the eyes of others (Christians and non-Christians), and endeavor to be Christ-like in our personal conduct and interaction with others (Matthew 7:16).

Authentic Christian Relationships

We believe that loving relationships should permeate every aspect of church life, resulting in each member caring for one another and encouraging one another to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Acceptance

We welcome people from all different backgrounds and ethnicity, equally treating everyone with love and respect (James 2:8-9).

Commitment

We endeavor to be a fellowship committed to doing whatever it takes to fulfill our mission (Romans 12:1).
